Courtix Padel League
Format & Scoring

Who Can Play

  • 16+. Under-18s play in the same league as adults and need a signed Parent/Guardian Consent Form before their place is confirmed.
  • We may ask for proof of age.

Format

  • Round-robin format — you play every other team once.
  • One match per week, one hour, self-managed (no referee).

Scoring

  • Best of 3 short sets, each to 4 games (win by 2).
  • Tiebreak at 4–4 (first to 7, win by 2).
  • Standard deuce and advantage applies. If the score returns to deuce a second time in the same game, the next point wins — a golden point, with no further advantage.
  • Short sets so matches fit the hour.

If Time Runs Out

Match stops at the current score. Winner decided by:

  • 1. Ahead in sets.
  • 2. If level — ahead in games, counting every game in the match.
  • 3. If still level — most points won.

When you enter the score, tick Time ran out and enter the last set as it stood. If you're level on sets and games, you'll be asked which team won on points.

League Table

  • Win: 3 points. Loss: 0.
  • Level at the top? Decided by head-to-head → game difference → total games won → decider match.

Submitting Scores

  • After the match, one player enters the games won in each set, on the site or in the app. Entry opens 40 minutes after your start time.
  • A player from the other team then confirms the score, or disputes it if theirs is different. If it's disputed, we'll contact both teams to sort it.
  • If the other team doesn't respond within 72 hours, the score that was entered stands.
  • Disagreement on a point? Replay it.

Conduct

  • Respect your opponents and the venue.
  • Turn up on time — persistent lateness or no-shows may forfeit the match.

Cancellations

Fixtures can’t be rescheduled — the schedule is set when the league is published, and moving one match has a knock-on effect on everyone else’s week.

If something genuinely outside your control stops you playing, such as injury, email us at bookings@padelcomps.com and we’ll look at it. Otherwise the match is forfeited by the team unable to play.

Prize

The team at the top of the table wins a prize, where the league has one.
