Courtix Padel League
Format & Scoring

Schedule

• Starts Tuesday 15th September, then every Tuesday for 7 weeks.
• Slots: 7–8pm or 8–9pm — allocated at random each week, confirmed in advance.
• Venue: Essendon Country Club, Bedwell Ave, Essendon, Hatfield AL9 6HN.

Who Can Play

• 16+. Under-18s play in the same league as adults and need a signed Parent/Guardian Consent Form before their place is confirmed.
• We may ask for proof of age.

Format

• Round-robin format — you play every other team once.
• One match per week, one hour, self-managed (no referee).

Scoring

• Best of 3 short sets, each to 4 games (win by 2).
• Tiebreak at 4–4 (first to 7, win by 2).
• Standard deuce/advantage scoring.
• Short sets so matches fit the hour.

If Time Runs Out

Match stops at the current score. Winner decided by:

• 1. Ahead in sets.
• 2. If level — ahead in games.
• 3. If still level — most points won.

League Table

• Win: 3 points. Loss: 0.
• Level at the top? Decided by head-to-head → game difference → total games won → decider match.

Submitting Scores

• Both teams submit the score on the site after the match.
• Scores must match. If they don't, we'll contact both teams to sort it.
• Disagreement on a point? Replay it.

Conduct

• Respect your opponents and the venue.
• Turn up on time — persistent lateness or no-shows may forfeit the match.

Cancellations

Can't make a gameweek? Let us know at least 72 hours in advance at info@courtixpadel.com — we'll ask your opponents if they're able to reschedule. If not, the match is forfeited by the team unable to play.

Prize

Top of the table wins £200.
